I have just had an update from the Highways department at Swindon Borough Council informing me that the planned works will commence on Monday 29 April; finishing on Wednesday 1 May.
UPDATE 24.04.2013 – The surfacing program was put back due to the weather conditions. SCS are unable to carry out the surfacing if the road surface temperature is below 5 degrees or if any salt residue is evident on the road surface. Unfortunately over the Easter period the carriageway surface fell into both of these category’s.
